※ ✈️Summer School 2026🌏 On Day 2 of Summer School, our little travelers had an amazing adventure! We folded clothes, packed a big suitcase together, and went to the airport to get our passports stamped before flying to Ghana. We have a wonderful teacher from Ghana and she shared many fascinating facts about her home country and taught us a few phrases in Twi! The fun continued as we designed our own colorful Kente cloth patterns, made beautiful jewelry, learned traditional songs, and played childhood games from Ghana. We can’t wait to see where our world tour takes us next!

On Monday, Harmony students began their Summer School World tour! Excitement levels were high as they took their suitcase and passports to Harmony International Airport! They went through the check-in procedure and received their first stamp for their passport. Day 1 was a visit to France 🇫🇷. The students were lucky to have a teacher from France to tell them all about French culture. They enjoyed learning how to greet each other in French, as well discovering more about French art and the delicious food! Everyone was surprised to find out that there are 1,800 types of French cheeses, including Brie, Roquefort and Mimolette. The highlight came when the children helped to prepare a selection of summer vegetables to make Ratatouille. Once it was cooked, the children all tried it, enjoying the colours, aroma and taste of this traditional French vegetable dish. They liked it so much that they asked for seconds and thirds! Enjoying the flavours of French cooking made the first day of their World Tour a memorable experience!

※ At Harmony Kindergarten, our children learn about a different country each month. They discover where the country is located in the world, famous places to visit, the foods people eat, the languages they speak, the games they enjoy, and so much more! In May, we explored Brazil. 🇧🇷 At the end of the month, we celebrate what we have learned with a special Culture Day. The children review their learning, enjoy cooking and crafts, and sometimes even welcome special guests. This time, we were blessed to have a very special guest who grew up in Brazil and has a deep love for the country. The children had a wonderful opportunity to learn about Brazilian culture firsthand!

Our teachers are so friendly and wonderful! ✨ When we asked them to introduce today’s cooking activity, they jumped right in and made it happen immediately! We hope you can feel the fun and excitement of today’s Special Cooking through this video. ☺️
